Swedish fans of The Brick Testament, rejoice! There is now a Swedish language translation of The Brick Testament: The Ten Commandments from publisher Marcus Förlag.

German

The German translation of The Brick Testament: Stories from the Book of Genesis is known as Das 1. Buch L. and was published in 2004 by Sansoucci. The same photo as the English version was used for the cover, but the scroll was removed and a clean modern font replaced the fancy script which was considered too evocative of fonts popular in the Nazi era. This book can be found in bookstores in Germany or online at Amazon.de.

Danish

Two books from the Brick Testament series are now available in the native tongue of the LEGO company itself now that Danish publisher Forlaget Vandkunsten has released translations of both The Brick Testament: The Ten Commandments and The Brick Testament: The Story of Christmas. The design of these books stays quite close to the originals, and I'll assume that the translation is generally accurate, though it was a little alarming to see how the final page of the Christmas book reads.

Japanese publisher Futami released a translation of The Brick Testament: Stories from the Book of Genesis in 2004. The cover art is a drastic departure from the English and German books, scrapping the Garden of Eden to showcase a lineup of Bible characters, an upside-down rainbow, and a miniature Tower of Babel. The cover is actually a dust jacket that folds out to showcase a total of fourteen characters. Oddly enough, while Shem makes it onto the front cover, God is relegated to the back (and the overleaf). In case that wasn't an in-depth enough look at the characters from Genesis, the books final pages also include a two-page spread of "ALL CHARACTERS from Ten Classic Bible Stories". This book can be found in bookstores in Japan or online at Amazon.jp.

Korean

In 2006 the Korean publisher Booksoop released translations of both The Brick Testament: Stories from the Book of Genesis and The Brick Testament: The Story of Christmas. The former is the first Brick Testament book to be published in a vertical layout. While most of the images were still horizontally oriented, leaving lots of empty space above and below, the occasional vertically oriented image fills an entire page, making them the largest Brick Testament images in print to date. The designers at Booksoop also took a free hand in re-styling the chapter opener pages, but their finest touch is the jarring final page of the book featuring God's disembodied head and absolutely nothing else.

The translation of the Christmas books stays much closer to the original. The most notable differences include the addition of the modern Christmas-celebrating family to bottom of the cover of the book, and a version of the author page where the image of Rev. Smith appears larger than in the original English version. These two books are available at bookstores in Korea, and presumably on select Korean booksellers' websites.
